Multi purpose shallow draft vessel “Altera” now under construction!

Neptune Marine is currently building a new, next generation, multi purpose shallow draft vessel for N-Sea.

The vessel is under construction in Poland and will transfer to The Netherlands in Q4 2025 for fitting and commissioning in Q2 2026.

The new built DP2 vessel, ‘𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮’ will be dual fuel (methanol) prepared, equipped with a 25t offshore knuckle boom crane, mooring system and can accommodate up to 99 people.

Due to the combination of its mooring system, DP2 capabilities and beaching capacities, the vessel will be able to operate year round in both very shallow and deep water conditions, on interconnector, export and inter-array cable projects.
